Refaktr LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Satsify browser extension (the "Extension"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Extension.

Information We DO NOT Collect

Satsify is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
• Browsing Data: We do not track, log, or monitor the websites you visit.
• Usage Analytics: We do not collect data about how you use the Extension.
• Cookies or Tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any other tracking technologies.
• Device Information: We do not collect information about your device, browser, or operating system.
• Financial Information: We do not collect, store, or have access to any financial or payment information.

How Satsify Works

The Extension operates entirely on your device:

1. Price Detection: The Extension scans web pages you visit for USD price patterns using local processing.
2. Bitcoin Price Fetching: The Extension fetches current Bitcoin prices from the CoinGecko API. This request does not include any personal information.
3. Local Conversion: All price conversions happen locally on your device.
4. Settings Storage: Your preferences (BTC vs. Satoshis mode, enabled/disabled state) are stored locally using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

CoinGecko API

The Extension uses the CoinGecko API to fetch current Bitcoin prices. When the Extension makes a request to CoinGecko:

• No personal information is included in the request
• CoinGecko may log the API request (IP address, timestamp) according to their own privacy policy
• We recommend reviewing CoinGecko's Privacy Policy for more information

No Other Third Parties

Satsify does not integrate with any other third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Data Storage

The only data stored by Satsify is:

• User Preferences: Your chosen display mode (Bitcoin or Satoshis) and whether the Extension is enabled or disabled
• Bitcoin Price Cache: The most recently fetched Bitcoin price, to reduce API calls

This data is stored using your browser's local storage API and remains on your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Permissions Explained

Satsify requests the following browser permissions:

• Storage: To save your preferences (BTC/Sats mode, enabled state) locally on your device
• Active Tab: To read and modify the current page content to convert USD prices
• Host Permission (api.coingecko.com): To fetch current Bitcoin prices from the CoinGecko API

We do not use these permissions to collect any personal data.

Children's Privacy

Satsify does not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 13. The Extension is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Security

Since Satsify does not collect or transmit personal data, there is minimal security risk. All data processing happens locally on your device. Your preferences are stored using standard browser storage APIs with their built-in security measures.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete from our systems. You can:

• Clear Local Data: Remove the Extension from your browser to delete all locally stored preferences
• Disable the Extension: Turn off the Extension at any time through your browser's extension settings

International Users

Satsify is available globally. Since no data is collected or transmitted (except for the Bitcoin price API request to CoinGecko), there are no data transfer considerations.
