1. Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Satsify ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

Satsify is a browser extension that automatically converts USD prices displayed on websites to their Bitcoin (BTC) or Satoshi equivalents using real-time exchange rates from third-party APIs.

Key Features:

• Automatic detection and conversion of USD prices on web pages
• Toggle between Bitcoin (₿) and Satoshi (sats) display modes
• Real-time exchange rates updated every 60 seconds
• Local settings storage (no cloud sync)

3. License and Restrictions

Refaktr LLC ("we," "us," or "our") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the Extension for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the Extension
• Use the Extension in a way that harms or interferes with our services
• Attempt to extract or scrape data from the Extension or its APIs

4. No Financial Advice

Important: Satsify is a conversion tool only and does NOT provide financial, investment, or trading advice. The Extension:

• Does not recommend buying, selling, or holding Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency
• Should not be relied upon for financial decision-making
• Is not endorsed by any financial institution or regulatory authority
• Does not constitute professional financial advice of any kind

Always consult with qualified financial professionals before making investment decisions.

5. Accuracy and Reliability

While we strive for accuracy, we do NOT guarantee:

• Exchange Rate Accuracy: Rates are provided by third-party APIs (CoinGecko) and may be delayed, incorrect, or unavailable
• Price Detection Accuracy: The Extension may misidentify prices or fail to detect some prices on certain websites
• Continuous Availability: The Extension may experience downtime, errors, or performance issues
• Compatibility: The Extension may not work correctly on all websites or with future browser updates

You acknowledge that Bitcoin prices are highly volatile and converted amounts may not reflect current market conditions.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension relies on third-party services, including:

• CoinGecko API: Provides Bitcoin price data. Subject to CoinGecko's own terms and availability.
• Websites You Visit: The Extension operates on third-party websites over which we have no control.

We are not responsible for any third-party service interruptions, inaccuracies, or policy changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Extension is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
• We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
• We are NOT liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Extension
• This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, lost profits, data loss, or any other damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension (which is $0, as it's free)

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Refaktr LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Extension
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any financial decisions made based on information displayed by the Extension

9. Privacy

Your use of the Extension is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Extension, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your browser and device meet the Extension's requirements
• Maintaining the security of your device
• Verifying any converted amounts before making financial decisions
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Any consequences of using the Extension in your jurisdiction

11. Modifications to the Extension

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice

• Change or remove third-party API integrations

We are not liable for any modifications, suspensions, or discontinuations.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Extension at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may terminate your use by uninstalling the Extension. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Refaktr LLC regarding the Extension and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

17. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

18. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms at any time without restriction.

19. Open Source

While the Extension may include open-source components, the Extension itself is proprietary software owned by Refaktr LLC. Any open-source components are governed by their respective licenses.
